Isabel is a visual and socially engaged artist based here in the Highlands.

She will spend the week at Inshriach Bothy working on a new artwork which connects to the Cairngorms National Park.

She said: “I am delighted. I have never been on a residency before and I am excited by the opportunity to have an immersive experience in the Inshriach bothy.”

Sydney Henderson of the Cairngorms group commented: “It’s been fantastic to give a young artist a chance to develop their practice, within our awe-inspiring landscape.

"Thanks to funding from Cairngorms Trust, we’re delighted to be providing a second residency to a local young artist – and we can’t wait to see what Isabel creates!”
