Wonder day at Aviemore!
It was a wonderous performance at Aviemore Parkrun today (Saturday, January 11).
Despite the filthy weather, with high winds and persistent rain, no fewer than 58 brave runners turned out – and Susan Lindgren celebrated her birthday by running in fancy dress, with equally wondrous friends.
For the138th running/walking/jogging of the great wee trek round the popular Strathspey course, the regulars were joined by 15 first-timers and there were four new personal bests recorded.
Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.
The event was made possible by seven volunteers: Wendy Grigor, Hilary Quick, Claire Howie, Bill Dewitt, Diana Grimson, Iain Wallace and Isobel Paterson.
