VAUGHAN - (Kingussie). Peacefully, in her sleep, at Balcarres Care Home, Dundee, on Wednesday, 1st September, 2021, Lois McLean Vaughan, aged 96 years. Widow to William Vaughan, a proud mother to Roderick and Diana, much loved grandmother to Malcolm, Alison, James and Alexandra and a much loved younger sister to Marjorie Goudie. In her years, an avid school teacher and headmistress, on retirement, a volunteer and mainstay at the Highland Folk Museum, Kingussie and a dutiful elder for The Church of Scotland. Giving all to her community she received an MBE in December 1993. A private service will be held in Dundee Crematorium (no flowers).
