SMITH - (Aviemore). Peacefully, at the Badenoch & Strathspey Community Hospital, Aviemore, on Saturday, 24th December, 2022, Ronald (Ron) Smith, of Craig Na Gower Avenue, Aviemore. Beloved husband of Christine, much loved dad of Jackie, Karen and the late Gillian and dear grandad of Anders, Jess, Robyn, Lottie and Rachel. Funeral service to take place at St Andrew's Church, Aviemore on Wednesday, 11th January, 2023 at 11am; and thereafter to Inverness Crematorium (1pm). All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, are to benefit the Highland Hospice. Following the church service, the cortège will be walked along Grampian Road to the Fire Station entrance before continuing onwards to the crematorium.
