McDOWALL - (Grantown-on-Spey). James (Jim) McDowall, age 83, ski teacher, landscaper, dry stone waller and watercolour artist. Much loved husband of Jane, teacher at Grantown Grammar, father of Kevin and Karen, father-in-law of Brian and Hilary, grandpa of Jenna and Ellie. Died at Grandview Care & Nursing Home on Sunday, 1st November, 2020, after a long illness. Private funeral at St Columba's Episcopal Church; followed by interment at Grantown Cemetery on Tuesday, 10th November. Family flowers only please.
