DAKERS - (Newtonmore). Peacefully, at Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital, on Friday, 13th January, 2023, Ken Dakers, aged 81 years, of Church Terrace, Newtonmore. Much loved husband of Rhona, dad to Ross and Ali, grandad, great-grandad and father-in-law. Will be sadly missed by all. A private family funeral will take place on Friday, 3rd February, 2023. For those who would like to pay their respects, the funeral cortège will leave from the family home in Church Terrace, Newtonmore at 11am. We will be led by piper Sandy MacDonell through Main Street, Newtonmore (from The Balavil Hotel to Glen Hotel), passing Ralia, before continuing to Inverness Crematorium.
