COOKSON (Newtonmore, formerly Edinburgh, Craigellachie and Dalraddy). Peacefully, at Mains House Care Home in Newtonmore on Thursday, 24th April, 2025, Janet Cookson, aged 88 years. Devoted wife to Bert, much loved mum to Ian, Gordon and Malcolm, step-mum to Caroline and Heather, gran to Ellen, Rian, Gwynneth and Suzanne, great-gran to Riannon. Janet donated her body to medical science at the University of Aberdeen and there will be no funeral. Please have a wee toast to her memory in your own time. The family extend their thanks to all staff at Mains House for the love and care shown to Janet over the years.
