Peacefully, after a short illness, in Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, on Wednesday, 3rd January, 2024, with family by his side, Ian Baxter, aged 78 years, of 19 Strathspey Avenue, Aviemore. Much loved dad of Alain, Noel and Lucie, adored grandad of seven grandkids, a dear brother, uncle and much loved companion and friend who will be sorely missed. Funeral service to take place at Inverness Crematorium, on Friday, 26th January, 2024, at 1pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, are to benefit the Aviemore Avalanche Junior Ice Hockey Team and may be given at the service. There will also be an opportunity to pay your respects as the funeral procession is walked from St Andrew's Church, Grampian Road, Aviemore, at 11.45am, to the Dalfaber Drive junction before continuing onwards to the crematorium.
