Peacefully, at Lynemore Care Home, Grantown-on-Spey, on Friday, 27th August, 2021, Elizabeth Jane Anderson (Jeannie), of Spey Vale, Drumullie Road, Boat of Garten, who passed away surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Ian, adored mother of David, George, Irene, Michael, Yvonne and the late Ronnie, a loved and respected mother-in-law, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and a good friend to many. Jeannie's funeral service will be held at St Columba's Parish Church, Boat of Garten, on Wednesday, 8th September, 2021 commencing at 12 noon, to which all family and friends are respectively invited to attend (recognising COVID 19 regulations). Family flowers only please, however donations in lieu of floral tributes are welcomed, with the chosen beneficiary being Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland. Donations can be made at the service or forwarded directly to the undernoted. Funeral cortége will depart from St Columba's Parish Church, Boat of Garten to Laggantygowan Cemetery, by Aviemore, arriving for 1pm approximately.
