ROSS - (Grantown-on-Spey). Elaine, Nikki, Calum and family would like to thank everyone for the many cards and kind messages following the sad loss of Johnny Ross. We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from our family, friends and the community and would like to thank all those who took the time to pay their respects on Friday. Special thanks to the staff at Grantown Medical Practice, the community nurses and Marie Curie nurses for the wonderful care they took of Johnny. Many thanks to Rev. Gordon Strang for a lovely service. Thank you to Spud the Piper for leading the funeral cortège to the cemetery and to Anne Dickson and Calum Beange for playing his favourite song. Thanks also to the John Ross Funeral Services team for their professionalism, immaculate attention to detail, kindness and friendship. Although we could not give him the service he deserved, it was a very special day and JR would have loved it!
