MACDONALD - (Tomatin). The family of the much-loved James MacDonald (Bochy) would like to express their gratitude for all the kind messages of sympathy in the form of the many cards, phone calls, emails, hugs and food parcels from their family, friends and neighbours. We have been truly astounded. The service was beautiful and sensitively led by Vivian Roden, a family friend of Bochy's, to whom we are grateful, as we are to the funeral directors, John Fraser & Son of Chapel Street, Inverness. Thanks too, to all family and friends worldwide who took the time to attend his funeral service in person, online, and those who watched him pass by in Tomatin or attended his burial at Dalarossie Cemetery. Thanks must also be given to all at Kingsmills Medical Practice, the Oncology team at Raigmore Hospital and those who helped during his short battle with cancer and were able to give us, his family, a lovely last Christmas and New Year. Without all your sympathetic care and attention, this would not have been possible. Your charitable donations on the day were £596 for Cancer Research UK & SAMH. We know this will increase due to donations still continuing online in his name. Bochy has left us with many happy loving memories. Grief is the price we pay for love.
