The Jags have bolstered their attacking options with the arrival of Dylan Lawrence on an 18-month loan from league two club Elgin City.
Lawrence, who came through the Ross County youth set-up, has made several Elgin first team appearances mainly from the bench and the club has retained a call-back option for the young forward.
Brown said: “We hope he will be with us for the 18 months.
“He is 18 years old and had a few first team appearances including some starts.
“Elgin felt he needed more game time.
“They are looking to move away from the relegation zone and have brought in other boys with some experience so Dylan’s opportunities have been more limited recently.”
The Grantown club has been following his progress from the start of the season and is delighted to have him on-board after making an approach following his lack of game time.
Meanwhile Ethan Cairns has been recalled to Inverness Thistle after joining the Jags on loan last summer.
A Jags spokesman said: "We wish him all the best in his footballing career and thank him very much for what he did here at Seafield Park."
The forward was one of five players to graduate from the city's club academy and sign a professional contract in the summer of 2021.
