The former Strathspey Thistle striker has returned to the Highland League six years after his dream move to full-time football with Hibs.

Following two frustrating years with Elgin City in SPFL League Two, the former Forfar, Livingston and Queens Park striker is determined to make up for lost time.

He has fired two goals in three games since signing for the Highland League side and wants to prove he is still the player who caught the eye of Scottish Premiership Hibs in 2016.

Peters spent most of his time at Elgin City on the bench and jumped at the chance to step back into the Highland League with title contenders Buckie Thistle.

Peters opened the scoring on Saturday (August 6) as the Jags romped to a 6-0 win over Lossiemouth at Grant Park.

After the game Peters, who works for High Life Highland in Aviemore as a fitness instructor, spoke to www.grampianonline.co.uk

Watch his interview in which he reveals his hopes following his move to Buckie and the faith new boss Graeme Stewart has shown in him.
