Scottish Gas Scottish Cup second round draw creates three all-Highland League ties while Elgin City to meet fellow League 2 opposition
There is a guarantee of three Highland League clubs being in the Scottish Cup third round.
Sunday’s second round draw created three all-Highland League ties to be played on Saturday October 26.
Huntly will take on a fellow north side for the second tie running, as their reward for a penalty shoot-out victory over Wick Academy is a trip to face Highland League leaders Brechin City.
Brora Rangers will host Formartine United while Fraserburgh - who beat Rothes 8-0 on Saturday - have another home game against Turriff United.
Keith, penalty shoot-out winners over Camelon, stay on home soil when they face Clydebank, who knocked Elgin City out of the tournament three seasons ago.
Elgin enter this year’s competition with a home clash against fellow League 2 side Clyde.
Buckie Thistle’s dreams of making the fourth round yet again will be heightened after they drew Sauchie Juniors away - their hosts beat Strathspey Thistle 6-0.
