The 22-year-old has arrived in Grantown-on-Spey after agreeing terms to sign a three-year deal.

It is Strathspey Thistle’s second signing today following bringing in midfielder George Robesten on loan from Ross County.

Wright previously played with Ross County after starting his full-time career in 2020 and went on loan at Brora Rangers, Montrose, Falkirk, Elgin City and Brechin City.

He left Ross County in 2024 and signed for Brora Rangers where he was part of the squad which won a historic treble, winning the Highland League, Highland League Cup and North of Scotland Cup.

However this season, it was confirmed Wright, along with Wallace Duffy, were taking a break from football due to personal reasons and have not featured at all for Brora.

He could make his debut for Strathspey Thistle at Wick Academy on Saturday.
