Our Highland News and Media poll gave fans three options on what should happen with the current campaign.

It was a close run thing with a single-figure number of votes separating the two most popular outcomes.

A total of 43% of those who took part in the poll voted for the Highland League term to be suspended until February.

That just won the day ahead of the 42% who suggested that the league should cancel the season altogether and start again in the summer.

Of course, the Highland League have decided to continue the campaign as normal, with fixtures set to go ahead this coming weekend.

That option was number three on our poll, with just 15% of fans voting to let play continue through the lockdown period.
