Newtonmore's annual Golf Week has been voted a resounding success despite the weather playing havoc on two days of competitions.

The Balavil Open had to be curtailed to 16 holes due to the River Spey flooding the 4th and 5th holes, and the Newtonmore Grill Stableford was cancelled after torrential rain.

The Ladies Open on Sunday saw more inclement conditions but the competitors rose to the challenge.

The evening entertainments were well attended.

One of the week's highlights was Stevie Coupar recording a hole in one at the 15th in the Ben Alder Trophy. The club is indebted to all the sponsors who have supported the club over the week.
