This morning (Saturday, August 31) saw another brilliant Parkrun at Aviemore.

"It's fast becoming the chosen form of family celebrations," said a delighted organiser Hilary Quick.

"We had one young lad aged 5 and three-quarters, Etienne Roy, visiting with a group from Putney who were here for a wedding, and a gentleman called John Bailey, who was celebrating his 80th birthday with his family!"

It was the 118th running of the event and it welcomed 93 hardy entrants.
