Kingussie's Fraser Munro (left) will be missing on Sunday after breaking his wrist in defeat to Kinlochshiel.

Kingussie boss John Gibson is expecting a good reaction from his side ahead of their biggest game of the season so far.

The Red and Blues lost their 25 match unbeaten record with a 1-0 defeat inflicted by nearest title challengers Kinlochshiel at the weekend.

Attentions now turn to Sunday’s Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup semi-final against Oban Camanachd at An Aird in Fort William.

A place in the final at Kingussie's home ground – The Dell – is at stake.

Gibson commented: “We’ve lost Fraser (Munro) for the Oban game. He has a broken wrist but he had an operation on Sunday and a plate inserted which should aid his recovery.

“We will hopefully see him again before the end of the season.

“I’m thankful that we have Louis (Munro) back and we’ll see how Hutchy (James Hutchison) is. Calum (Grant) is getting there but this Sunday comes too soon for him.

With it being a Sunday game, we’ll train on Saturday afternoon.”

Throw-up is at 4.05pm and Willie MacDonald is the referee.

The whole match will be broadcast live on BBC ALBA.

This is the first of a double-header with the two sides also meeting in the Artemis Macaulay Cup Final at Mossfield on Sunday 21 August.
