Highland Hospice praises 'wonderful' volunteers for the 'amazing work they do'
The many, many volunteers who keep the Highland Hospice running have been warmly praised for their tireless efforts by the very charity they do so much for.
The Highland Hospice marked international volunteers day by showing appreciation for the army of volunteers who help it across the region.
It stressed that it "simply would not be able to run" without their sterling efforts.
And in a moving post on its Facebook pages, it sang the praises of the "wonderful" people who volunteers and "the amazing work they do!"
Taking to Facebook, the charity said: "Today is International Volunteers Day!
"We'd like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers and recognise the amazing work they do!
"Without them we simply would not be able to run as an organisation and provide a service whether it be in Netley Lodge, our Inpatient Unit, out in the Highland communities, at our fundraising events, in our Highland Hospice Shops, By The River Café or In The City Café and Bookshop.
"Each and everyone of them are stars!"
