The Highland Heroes awards ceremony is set to be another fabulous event!

All of your Heroes will get together with the award sponsors and enjoy a well-deserved night of entertainment and dining at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness on Thursday, March 24.

Host sponsor for the awards ceremony is RSE. Managing director, Allan Dallas, said: “RSE is supporting the Highland Heroes 2022 campaign as we believe it is the kind-hearted spirit within our local communities which has made a positive difference during the difficulties we have all faced throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We would like to take this opportunity to commend the people of the Highlands who work under the radar to improve the lives of others, whether this be through volunteering, fundraising or working tirelessly as key workers. This year, more importantly than any, we would encourage people to nominate inspiring individuals who have gone above and beyond in our local communities. These everyday heroes thoroughly deserve to be celebrated and we at RSE are delighted to be a part of recognising these extraordinary people at the Highland Heroes awards.”

On the night, the hero of heroes, chosen by our judging panel from all of the award winners, will be revealed.

Springfield is sponsoring the hero of heroes award.

Managing director (north), Dave Main, said: “We’re really pleased to support the hero of heroes award within the Highland Heroes awards. These awards are an excellent way to celebrate the people who shape and make our community.

“At Springfield, a large part of our ethos is applauding our staff and we are delighted to be involved in these awards to recognise those who make a positive difference to the wider community too. We want to celebrate these people and give them the appreciation they deserve.” All shortlisted nominees will be treated to a VIP reception, sponsored by Morscot Utilities.

Morscot director Paul Mulholland said: “To be nominated as a Highland Hero is testament to the dedication and bravery of each nominee. Sponsoring the shortlist VIP reception is a small way for us to contribute to an evening of celebrating the many achievements of all of the Highland Heroes.”

The entertainment on the night is sponsored by Sharon Leon. Director at Sharon Leon, Jeni Sheerin, added: “At Sharon Leon we are delighted to be supporting the Highland Heroes 2022 campaign, this is a fantastic way to recognise and acknowledge some of the wonderful Heroes we have in the Highlands from all ages with all very different stories. The event itself is a fantastic evening, please take some time to think of a person you know that you can nominate in one of the many categories. I am really looking forward to hearing all about them.”

The welcome drinks sponsor for the awards ceremony is Davall Developments.

Director David Cameron is delighted Davall is supporting Highland Heroes 2022 once again: “Highland Heroes has always been a great way to say thank you to all of the unsung heroes in our communities but it is even more important this time around. The pandemic has hit everyone hard but that has made our local heroes do even more to help others."
