A QUARTET of talented young skiers from Carrbridge Primary School delivered great performances at the recent Green Mountain Indoor Races at the SnowFactor in Braehead.

They might have been excused for being tired leaving the village at 5.30am but that proved to be no hindrance for Harry Townsend, Hamish MacKintosh, Kari Thurlbeck and Emily Rothney.

They finished a fantastic third out of 38 teams and were just one point away from silver.

Hamish finished fourth in P1-4 category; Harry was fifth in P5-7 category despite only being in P5; Kari finished in eighth place in the P5-7 girls contest and Emily was 46th in the same race.

The courses were very challenging with 212 kids racing on the day.
