The Star Hotel at the very heart of Kingussie has been put up for sale with guiding offers of £425,000.

Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co is handling the sale.

The traditional three floor, stone-built hotel features 35 en-suite letting bedrooms, along with a large lounge and bar area and function space.

Tony Spence, business agent who is handling the sale for Christie & Co, said: “The sale of the Star Hotel offers the discerning purchaser a unique opportunity to acquire a small hotel situated in a lively town which attracts a range of guests.

"Most of the business is derived through booking.com and hotels.com, and it is ideally placed for an experienced operator looking to develop a solid business further.”

A spokeswoman for Christie & Co said: "The hotel is aiming to open again in June."

The business is on the market with a guide price of £425,000 for the freehold going concern.
