WATCH: Highland Heroes 2025 – nominate carer of the year
Carers provide a vital lifeline to many individuals and their families throughout the Highlands.
Highland Heroes pays tribute to all the incredible carers who tirelessly support those who rely on them with the carer of the year award, recognising the invaluable contribution they make, not only to the lives of those they care for but to their wider community.
NOMINATE your Highland Heroes 2025 by midnight on Sunday, December 15.
The carer of the year will be an individual who, through dedication, kindness and sensitive handling, consistently provides high quality care, and who has made personal sacrifices in order to tend to the needs of others or play a vital role in our communities, providing support and help to people who need it.
The Highland Heroes carer award is sponsored once again by Parklands Care Homes.

Once all of the nominations have been submitted, our judges will whittle down the entries to create a shortlist and you will be invited to vote for your winners.
All of the finalists, sponsors and guests will be invited to the awards ceremony on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel, Inverness where the winners will be revealed!
In addition to the main categories, there is also a very special award presented on the night.
A hero of heroes will be chosen by the judges from among all of your winners.
