An American Nessie spotter claims to have seen the mythical creature for a second time in two months.

It brings the total number of reported sightings of something unexplained in Loch Ness so far this year.

Kalynn Wangle, of Oregon, was watching the loch's webcam on June 3 when she caught sight of a black object moving across the water.

During the 10-minute sighting, the object changes shape and goes under the water and comes back up again. Splashing also seems to visible.

It follows her previous report in April when she spotted something unexplained on the webcam.

Her reports have been recorded on the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register run by Gary Campbell at www.lochnesssightings.com.

The other three sightings so far this year have been reported by long-time Nessie spotter, Irish hospital clerk Eoin O'Faodhagain, who also noticed something unusual on the webcam.

The first was on January 18 when he spotted a moving object rising from the water and disappearing again a few seconds later.

On April 13, he again caught a video of something unexplained, appearing very low compared to the surface water and throwing up white foam, going in and out of the loch.

He also believes he saw the mythical creature in Urquhart Bay on April 22 after spotting a 30ft long shape in the water

Last year, Mr O'Faodhagain had four sightings recorded on the register after watching the webcam of Urquhart Bay.
