Two new registered coronavirus cases in Highlands take region's tally over 400

There have been two additional confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Highlands in the past 24 hours, new figures have shown.

It means the tally for the NHS Highland area since the start of the pandemic has increased to 401.

Some 44 people have tested positive across Scotland in the last 24 hours, taking the national total to 19,921.

And there have been no new reported deaths of people who have tested positive.

Elsewhere in the north, NHS Grampian had six new recorded cases in the past day, taking its tally to 1905.
