A9 at Kingussie disrupted after trailer detachment

Traffic was held up for a while this morning on the A9 at Kingussie but was soon flowing again.

The incident happened just outside the Badenoch capital in normal conditions.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Strathy: “We were made aware of a trailer becoming detached while being towed on the A9 near Kingussie shortly before 7am today.

“The trailer struck a barrier and no one was injured.

“Recovery was arranged for the trailer.”
