Investigations going on into Aviemore crash
Traffic north of Aviemore remains heavy after a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision near the village.
The incident involving two vans occurred on the A95 at the junction with the A9 and the B9152 at Granish shortly after 7.30am this morning (Tuesday, October 8).
Two people were taken to Raigmore Hospital by ambulance including one male passenger who sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Police were dispatched to the scene following initial reports of the collision, just yards from the A9 trunk road, around 7.40am.
A police spokesman said: “Police were called at 7.40am this morning to reports of a two vehicle collision.
"Ambulance attended and one male passenger was taken to Raigmore Hospital with serious injuries.
"The road is expected to be closed for some time while enquiries are ongoing.”
