Nicola Sturgeon confirms third coronavirus death in Scotland

A third person in Scotland has died from coronavirus in Scotland, the First Minister has confirmed.
Nicola Sturgeon was speaking about what measures are being put in place to tackle the virus when she made the announcement ahead of the afternoon statement on the latest numbers of those who have become infected.
Each day the numbers are released around 2pm to update the public on how many cases of confirmed infections there are in Scotland, in what health boards they have appeared and how many tests have been conducted.
Ms Sturgeon also revealed that schools were to close by Friday and might not reopen before the summer while at least £1.9 billion would flow to business following the £350 billion lifeline for the economy announced yesterday by the chancellor.
