Despite a very blustery and showery morning there were nearly 70 eager runners, joggers, walkers and volunteers.

Said steward Paul Jarvis: 'People had travelled far and wide to participate.'

It was the 120th running of the evening and it attracted 23 first timers and recorded 14 new personal bests.

There were representatives from 11 different clubs taking part.

As ever it was all down to the goodwill of keen volunteers to see the event went off without a hitch.

Today's stalwarts were: Sandy Grigor, Wendy Grigor, Pete Wright, Paul Jarvis, Janice Cargill, Bill Dewitt, Becks Ferguson, Helen Stewart, Erico Donghi, Maisy Jane Gorman, Nevio Donghi and Tilly Lois Ferguson.

Full results and a complete event history can be found on the Aviemore parkrun Results Page.
