The Strathspey capital has been chosen as the Hub for the festival, which will be a hive of activity with loads of events taking place.

The date: May 16-17.

"During the festival dates there will be a full programme of events, workshops and activities taking place across the whole of the Cairngorms National Park, with Grantown as the Hub," Lucy confirmed.

Festival organisers are keen for as many businesses as possible to get involved.

"Iā€™d be delighted to come and have a chat.ā€

She and the team are working with groups across the community to connect them with the nature of the Cairngorms National Park.

"Over the course of the weekend we will be working with community groups, local Ranger services and organisations to deliver a programme of fun engaging activities including green woodworking in Anagach Woods, Bringing Nature Indoors in care homes, working with the primary school to create a self-guided fun interactive trail around the woods, hosting a nature art exhibition with the town's Spey art group and working with Dulaig Park renovation group to create a great place for people and nature ā€“ to name just a few."
