A beautiful Easter was ruined for some by the selfishness of others. Once again temperatures are rising over the litter being left in Badenoch and Strathspey by those who will not clean up after them.
Glenmore Forest Park posted: "This was Loch Morlich today.
"The group that left this on the beach for our rangers to clear up was actually spoken to by the team and offered advice on how to make responsible decisions when visiting the countryside, but decided to leave their waste and fire site behind.
"It's so disheartening for staff and local residents to see beauty spots like this within the Cairngorms National Park being treated with such disrespect.
"We welcome people to Glenmore but really encourage visitors to leave no trace."
Defending local Independent Highland Councillor Bill Lobban raged: "This cannot be allowed to continue and surely its time for a complete change in policy.
"I'm loath to suggest this as I fully support the right of responsible access – this is NOT responsible access – but it's time to introduce a by-law legally banning all overnight camping in the Glenmore area and to back it up with a ban on overnight parking, including in the FLS carparks and by the roadside.
"Most importantly, enforce the bans!"
