Snow closes several routes connecting Badenoch and Strathspey

There are several road closures in and around Badenoch and Strathspey after heavy snow fell on high ground overnight.

The A939 Dava, A939 Bridge of Brown and B9007 Glenferness roads remain closed due to drifting snow.

Between two and three centimetres of snow has fallen across low roads overnight.

A Highland Council spokeswoman said: "There is more snow on higher routes with drifting on high, exposed locations. The A939 Dava, A939 Bridge of Brown and B9007 Glenferness remain closed due to drifting snow.

"All resources are deployed in treating roads."
