No issues but sleet and snow affecting north of Badenoch and Strathspey routes

This morning’s roads condition report for Badenoch and Strathspey, issued at 7.45, confirms that snow and sleet are affecting the north of the area.

“Damp roads and ice in the south.

“We’re treating all routes as resources allow, including footpaths.

“No known overnight issues.”

Neighbouring areas: Nairn is experiencing damp roads on lower routes with ice and and snow/sleet on high routes.

“Treating all routes and footpaths. No known issues.”

Inverness: “Low road surface temperatures, treating all primary and secondary routes and footpaths.

“No known overnight issues.

No schools are currently closed today due to the weather.
