Scottish Minister to give Q&A in Grantown

RURAL economy secretary and local MSP Fergus Ewing will be the special guest speaker at an SNP event in Grantown this weekend.

Mr Ewing, MSP for Inverness and Nairn (including Strathspey) will be in town on Saturday for a Q&A session on his portfolio as well as answering questions about Scottish Independence and the part the rural economy can play

The event is being hosted by the Grantown and District SNP branch.

Branch organiser Calum Graham said "This is a really exciting time for politics in Scotland and we will be delighted to hear about the opportunities and challenges before us.

"This is part of a year of on-going campaigning for us and many people are now seriously considering an independent Scotland."

Mr Ewing will be at the talk and Q&A at the YMCA Centre on the town's High Street from noon until 2pm.
