For the second day running there have been no additional confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Highlands, new figures have shown.

It means the total recorded by NHS Highlands stays at 335.

The number of people being treated in hospital with suspected or confirmed Covid-19 stayed on 10 – the the same as yesterday – while the number of people in intensive care is still fewer than five.

Some 132 people have tested positive across the whole of Scotland in the last 24 hours, taking the national total to 15,101.

And 2270 people have died across the country since the outbreak began, a rise of nine on the same point yesterday.

Elsewhere in the north, NHS Grampian had one more recorded case taking its overall tally to 1224. Its hospitals were treating 72 people for the disease, with fewer than five receiving treatment in intensive care.
