Traffic flow has been restored on the A95 by the Dulnain Bridge turn-off after an accident earlier this afternoon.

Fire crews were called to the A938 junction, just south of Grantown, at around 1.15pm and rushed from both Aviemore and Kingussie to attend the incident.

The Aviemore-Keith road was blocked in both directions for nearly two hours as emergency services assisted.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Strathy: "We received a report of a one vehicle crash involving a motorbike on the junction of the A95 and A938.

"The motorcyclist, a 61-year-old man, has been taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

"The road was reopened at 3pm."
