Certainly not Scott Fleming!

Mine Host at Glenmore's ever popular Pine Marten Bar and Scran caught this sensational shot last night as he hit the road.

"Yassss what a view!" he told his Facebook friends today.

"You could see the sky dancing with your very own eyes!"

He told the Strathy it was the first time he had ever seen the majestic aurora borealis so bright.

"I took the shot from the side of the field just before the turn off, down to the go kart track and Ritchies," he said.

"I was actually driving home after taking some photos at Craigellachie and could see the sky starting to go a bit mental!"

Many have been posting their own shots of the sensational manifestation, where energized particles from the sun slam into Earth's upper atmosphere at speeds of up to 45 million mph (72 million kph), to clash with the magnetic field which protects the planet from the 'attack'.
