Police have renewed an appeal for information following the theft of slate tiles earlier this year from a bridge wall in Aviemore.

A force spokesperson said: "Earlier in the year there was a theft of blue/grey slate tiles with each tile measuring one by 1.5 metres.

"They covered an area of approximately 30 metres and were stolen from the top of a wall in Carn Elrig View in Aviemore.

No date was supplied for the theft of the slate tiles.

Anyone with information in relation to this can contact Police on 101 or via 'Contact Us' on the Police Scotland website."

Anonymous reports can also be made to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
