Police launch appeal over vandalism of pay-and-display machines in Cairngorm National Park beauty spot

Police in Aviemore are appealing for information about the recent vandalism of two pay-and-display machines.

The machines were damaged in the Allt Mor car park in the Glenmore area.

“The pay-and-display machines are believed to have been vandalised overnight on Thursday, August 8,” said a police spokesperson..

“The first machine was damaged by glue that has been poured over the display screen and buttons. The second machine was found with a smashed display screen.

“We are appealing to anyone with any information, to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting ‘incident 3041 of Friday, August 9’.”
