Police Scotland appeal for help tracing missing man with links to Inverness

POLICE are "concerned for the welfare" of a missing man with links to Inverness who has not been seen since Hogmanay.

Officers have issued an appeal for help tracing Arron Campbell, from Aberdeen.

Mr Campbell (36) was reported missing from the city centre and was last seen in Aberdeen's Union Street on Thursday, December 31.

He is around 6ft tall with short red hair, and was wearing a yellow hoodie and black jacket. He is known to frequent Aberdeen city centre and also has links to Inverness.

Sergeant Ricky Burr said: "We are concerned for Arron's welfare as he has not been in touch with family or friends since he was last seen on the December 31.

"I would urge anyone who has seen him or been in touch with him since the start of the year to contact police on 101, quoting reference 1489 of 15 January."
