Daylight assault on Highland street leads to police appeal for information

Police are appealing for information in connection with an early afternoon assault committed against a coach driver in the city centre.

The attack happened on busy Bank Street beside the River Ness in Inverness about 2.30pm last Wednesday, April 27.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 50 years of age, 5ft 7in to 5ft 8in tall, with short grey hair, glasses, and wearing a red puffa jacket and blue jeans. He also had a local accent.

Police Scotland asks if anyone has information regarding the circumstances of the incident they should contact them on telephone number 101 quoting reference PS-20220427-2061.
