Loch Garten’s vandalised nature centre has re-opened after a two-day closure.

Visitor operations manager Rachel Coyle told the Strathy that police investigations were continuing into the attack on Tuesday.

““We’re now back open again. The damage was thankfully external.”

The team at the RSPB’s ever-popular osprey-led attraction were unable to go into detail with the investigation still going on, but could confirm:

“Following an act of vandalism, we temporarily closed the nature centre for two days.

BUSINESS AS USUAL: The nature centre at Loch Garten has resumed, but police investigations continue.

“We are pleased that the damage has been quickly resolved and we are currently fully cooperating with the police in their investigations.”

We hope to have more as the situation becomes clearer.
