An open Covid vaccination clinic will take place in Aviemore tomorrow.

Eligible people will be able to get first or second dose or booster jag at the session.

Government advice recently changed urging people to get their booster from just three months after their second jag rather than the six months previously advised.

The shorter wait is because of the rise of the much more transmittable Omicron variant.

An NHS Highland spokeswoman told the Strathy: "There will be a vaccination clinic in Aviemore tomorrow at the village's community centre from 9am to 12.30pm and 1.15pm to 3pm.

"It's a drop-in clinic so anyone over the age of 18 requiring a booster and anyone, any age still needing their first or second dose is invited."
