For the third day running there have been no additional confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Highlands, new figures have shown.

It means the total recorded by NHS Highlands stays at 341.

The number of people being treated in hospital with suspected or confirmed Covid-19 stayed at seven, while the number of people in intensive care is still fewer than five.

Some 25 people have tested positive across the whole of Scotland in the last 24 hours, taking the national total to 15,755.

And 2448 people who tested positive have died across the country since the outbreak began, a rise of one on the same point yesterday.

Elsewhere in the north, NHS Grampian had six more cases since yesterday taking its overall tally to 1294. Its hospitals were treating 56 people for the disease, with fewer than five receiving treatment in intensive care.
