THERE has been no change in the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the Highlands in the last 24 hours.

The number of positive cases identified in the region remains at six today, the same as yesterday, following the latest update provided by the Scottish Government.

The number of Scottish people testing positive for Covid-19 rose to 322 and six people have died after contracting the disease.

There are now 19 confirmed cases in Grampian, up from 18 yesterday.

The worst affected health board areas in Scotland are Greater Glasgow & Clyde (91) and Lanarkshire (41).

A total of six patients who tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
