Scottish Government announce no additional coronavirus cases confirmed in Highlands

THE region remains with two official coronavirus cases, according to today's Scottish Government statistics.

There have been no additional cases of the virus in the NHS Highland area in the past 24 hours.

However, there were 18 new cases across Scotland, taking the national figure to 171.

The most are in the Greater Glasgow & Clyde health board area, where 44 people have been diagnosed with the disease.

So far there have been 4895 Scottish tests carried out.
