Come and meet Archie

ARCHIE, the official mascot of the Moray Friends of ARCHIE campaign, will attend a coffee morning this Saturday (Nov 10) in support of the Dr Gray's children's ward appeal.

The friends group will host the event at Elgin High Church Hall from 10am to 1pm.

There will be a range of stalls, and beat the buzzer, face painting and nail painting for the youngsters.

Archie will be there during the event and keen to meet his young fans.

Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children.

The appeal has received another boost with a cheque for £3,000 from the Laigh of Moray Vintage Association, which was the proceeds from its family fun day at Roseisle at the end of September.

The appeal now stands at more than £60,000, with more donations and events in the pipeline.

With a planned redevelopment of the children's ward by NHS Grampian, the Moray Friends appeal will help give the ward the wow factor and provide additional facilities and create a warm environment for young patients and their families.
