Missing Humberside man could be in Aviemore or Grantown area

Owen Danter has not been seen for two weeks.

A man reported missing from the Hull area could have headed to either Aviemore or Grantown.

Police in Humberside are appealing for information on 43-year-old Owen Danter who has not been seen since December 15.

Mr Danter, from Brough, was last seen in the Doncaster area on that day.

He has links to North Yorkshire but it is believed that he may have headed to Badenoch and Strathspey.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Owen may have travelled to the Cairngorms area particularly Aviemore or Grantown. His car is a dark grey Range Rover."

He was reported missing on December 18.

A Humberside police spokesperson said: "Extensive enquiries have taken place and are continuing and we are appealing for anyone who has seen Owen to get in touch with us."

Mr Danter is described as being 5'10" tall with short brown hair and has a beard.

He is believed to be wearing a black cap and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a blue polo shirt and black boots.

His Range Rover has roof bars front and back, side skirt steps and is fitted with a static tow bar.

Police said he is know to frequent rural locations.
