A go-ahead local family business is gearing up for a busy summer after the successful launch launched of its off road driving centre aimed at budding young drivers.

The Little Landys adventure has been set up by Emma Norton whose father, Mike Norton founded the family’s Quad Bike Treks Aviemore, based at Rothiemurchus Estate.

The new activity invites mini drivers age from six to 11 years to take the wheel of a scaled down replica Land Rover negotiate a specially designed bespoke off road track.

“Our quad bike trekking has a minimum age 12 so we wanted to provide an off road activity for the younger age group,” said Emma.

And she has been delighted by the response.

“We have only just opened but the Little Landys has been given a big thumbs up from our young drivers and bookings have been coming in right through the summer,” she said.

Bookings for both the Little Landys and the quad bike treks can be made on the Rothiemurchus website at Rothiemurchus.net
